Each fund's NAV (AMFI) next to its benchmark index (NSE), over the same dates. Returns over a year are annualised. Gap = fund minus benchmark: positive means the fund did better over that period, after its expenses.
How the benchmark is built. NSE publishes price indices daily; fund NAVs include dividends, so each equity index is turned into an estimated total-return index (TRI) by adding back its published dividend yield day by day. Benchmarks that NSE does not publish (CRISIL hybrids, hybrid composites) are rebuilt from weighted Nifty and G-Sec indices, rebalanced daily, and marked "rebuilt" — close to, but not the same as, the official series in the fund's factsheet.
Past returns say nothing about future ones. This is not a recommendation to invest in, keep or leave any fund. Sources: AMFI (NAV), NSE (index closes).
